IOS accounts for nearly 65 per cent of total app store spend, and the figure is even higher in purely non-gaming apps, where iOS represents 71 per cent of all expenditure. iOS consumer spend climbed 5.8 per cent year-on-year to $43.5 bn, while Google Play grew 4.3 per cent to $24bn.
